The Office for Procurement oversees all procurement at the University.

Specific responsibilities include

  • Ensuring that procurement processes conducted at the University comply with the Swedish Public Procurement Act (LOU)

  • Providing information about the laws and regulations that apply in connection with the purchase of goods and services (see Guidelines for procurement)

  • Providing information about existing framework agreements

    • Information about framework agreements entered into by the University is accessible via the Agreements link (in Swedish)

    • Information about state framework agreements, which can be used in cases where the University has not entered into any relevant framework agreement, is available at

  • Carrying out procurement processes involving goods, services and framework agreements where amounts exceed the limit for direct procurement

  • Providing departments and other organisations at the University with advice and concrete assistance in connection with direct procurement;

  • Providing web-based training relating to procurement matters.
