The Office for Procurement oversees all procurement at the University.
Specific responsibilities include
Ensuring that procurement processes conducted at the University comply with the Swedish Public Procurement Act (LOU)
Providing information about the laws and regulations that apply in connection with the purchase of goods and services (see Guidelines for procurement)
Providing information about existing framework agreements
Information about framework agreements entered into by the University is accessible via the Agreements link (in Swedish)
Information about state framework agreements, which can be used in cases where the University has not entered into any relevant framework agreement, is available at www.avropa.se
Carrying out procurement processes involving goods, services and framework agreements where amounts exceed the limit for direct procurement
Providing departments and other organisations at the University with advice and concrete assistance in connection with direct procurement;
Providing web-based training relating to procurement matters.
